The LAS edge summer school program starts in exactly one month! Asia, our third prize winner, will join 20 students from all over the world to participate in a three-week program of leadership potential development, self-discovery, confidence building, and a lot of fun and outdoor activities!
You can read more about the program here.
We spoke to Asia to check what she was most excited about before the beginning of the program:
“I can’t wait for the beginning of the summer school program in Leysin next month. When I look at the pictures of the amazing landscapes and read about everything that has been planned for the LAS edge program participants, I am just jumping for joy. I want to make sure that I make the most of this opportunity. I hope to improve my self-esteem and find sources of inspiration that will guide my future decisions. I am also looking forward to making friends with peers from all over the world and experiencing the best summer of my life. I am excited about the different themes for each week–compassion, innovation and responsibility–which will expose me to new perspectives on a number of global issues, ranging from sociopolitical ones, to economic, to environmental, you name it. I believe that LAS edge will enhance my critical thinking, broaden my horizons, and equip me with the skills necessary to come up with innovative solutions for the society and the planet and have the courage perseverance in implementing them. I can’t wait!”
